Sacred Sound Journey - Simplistic, profound, and powerful experience for inspiration, and transcendence!

Sanskrit texts were traditionally taught through oral transmission or śruti paramparā. It is thought that through chanting, knowledge can seep into one’s consciousness on a level beyond the literal meaning of the words! The vibrations of Kirtan and Bhajan’s awaken the soul, aligning it with the sacred hum of the universe. Each note, each word, is a gentle reminder of the divine presence within

According to the Vedas, chanting is one of the most effective means of achieving self-realisation and union with the Divine. Chanting is an ancient spiritual practice in which rhythmical repetitions of sacred words or phrases deepen concentration and devotion!

These events are a harmonious symphony of sound, meditation, and yogic philosophies that create a vibrational dance that soothes the soul while connecting with the Divine spark within!

The chanting of devotional Kirtan songs is a fascinating practice with a rich history and spiritual significance!

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) is credited with saying, “The medicine of the future will be music and sound”

Benefits of Kirtan Chanting:

  • Stress Reduction and Relaxation

  • Improved Focus and Concentration

  • Spiritual Awakening

By embracing the possibility of a deeper connection to the Divine and a more liberated life, we can shatter the illusions of sadness, fear, and confusion!

This profound shift empowers us to transform our habits and behaviours, paving the way for a more compassionate and joyful reality!

Are you ready!

Sacred Sound Journey events are a powerful opportunity to go deeper within and connect with like-minded seekers. They offer a unique blend of sound healing, meditation, and chanting, creating a transformative experience for participants.

Chanting/singing sacred songs (Kirtan) like the Ma Durga, Baba Hanuman, Sri Ram Jai Ram, the Gayatri Mantra, OM Namah Shivaya and Govinda Jaya Jaya or Hare Krishna while playing the Harmonium is now part of my daily practice! In the beginning, sound came out of the darkness or void in the vibration of OM The primordial sound, is the sound that creates all life in the universe! (Nada Brahman)

The sages of India and Tibet as well as the monks of Sri Lanka feel that if there is a sound audible to us mortals that comes close to the primal sound that is the world, then it is the sound of the sacred word OM.

This afternoon workshop combines:

Kirtan Dynamic Music Meditation!

Experiencing a guided sacred sound journey!

Deepening your presonal connection to the Divine!

Chanting sacred songs (Kirtan) is a devotional practice that helps to uplift the mind, open the heart and bring inner peace.

It is the fastest, easiest and most joyful way to achieve peace of mind. The mantras are mystical universal sounds that resonate with our chakras and remove negative energies, they vibrate and and align with the inner Self (Ishvara)

Swami Sivananda Sarasvati who was a strong presence along my journey to self-realisation cites a well-known Vedic metaphor:

“OM is the bow, the mind is the arrow, God or Brahman is the target… Strike the target.. OM is the inner music of the soul…. Become yourself through OM.

Always think of OM. Sing OM. Recite OM. Practice OM. Meditate OM. Enter the ship OM. Sail on it…. And safely land in the wonderful city of the Eternal Brahma.

In my experience The Self (I AM) loves the sound of chanting and certain sounds, it resonates with the vibration which supports the journey of awakening the hidden sage!
